Hi Everyone, fellow blogabaloos!
I am announcing here our first ever week long Fitness Camp that I will be hosting, in June of 2010 here in Hawaii (on the big Island) in an exotic and secluded resort, South of Hilo.
We will be holding the camp for 7 days and 6 nights, and are planning a week full of fitness and fun. I will personally be giving 2 classes per day, plus taking the group on morning walks through the jungles of the 120 acre property (if I’m awake that is…) and holding special evening discussions and social gatherings. Be prepared to be woken up at 2am for my post midnight workout..(just kidding)
We will have the support of some excellent instructors that will be conducting classes such as; Pilates, Yoga, Pool exercises and more. There will also be special lectures on health and fitness related topics. The food at the resort is really good and healthy (if junk food is what you fancy, you’ll have to bring it from home..)
We will also be visiting the Volano and taking a hike through the Lava fields, a trip which I’ve just scouted out last week (awesome!)
Please check the web site for more info on this fitness adventure and take advantage of our early bird special.
I hope to meet you in person, here in Hawaii!
Happy holidays
Aloha!

Our Kids DVD project is moving right along, thank you for your comments. It should be very interesting to see what response we will get from the kids themselves. These DVD’s will be lots of fun, with off the wall fitness messages and parrots making special appearances in the program.
There is so much misconception and misinformation out there in regards to fitness and healthy eating. It seems like every day another “shocking” piece of information makes it to the news that raises questions and confuses everyone. The truth is really very simple… exercise regularly and eat wholesome foods.

Hi To all,
This week I am in the editing room in Manoa (near the university of Hawaii) working on 3 new DVD’s that we are going to put out for kids. I think think kids are being neglected when it comes to their fitness. We all know from professional reports that the kids in the US today are fatter and less fit than past generations. The latest estimate I read claims that nearly 30% of kids are borderline obese.
Well, hopefully I can do something about it.

Hi to all, Last night I happened to read the cover story in this weeks Time Magazine titled “The Myth of Exercise” this is by far one of the most uneducated and misleading articles I have ever read! The writer is completely misinformed about fitness and nutrition, making the claim that exercise will make you gain weight…pathetic! I won’t go into all the ridiculous claims made by this “writer” I am however very surprised that such a poor article can make it into the feature in Time Magazine…whats next??

Gilad here, hi to all.
This is my first attempt at “blogging” so I hope you all welcome me to the 21st century..
Since summer has arrived I’m curious how every “body” is doing. Many of us look forward to summer and set it as a goal and a time in which we hope to be in the best possible shape for a very simple reason, we want to look good in a bathing suit! So, have you been able to reach your goal this summer? have you had any set backs? I’d like to learn more about your goals and challenges. Please post your comments on this blog or on our facebook (search for us under Gilad’s Bodies in Motion).
Aloha to you from Hawaii!
